AI Use Disclosure

Content. Each piece of content on this website is subject to an editing process by me, the owner of the website. AI is used to help craft articles, emails, and social media posts, from the generation of a first draft to spelling and grammar checks. The ideation and the final piece of content are developed by, and subject to, human review and editing, with AI being an assisting instrument. Accordingly I reserve all rights relating to copyright.

Images. I occasionally use AI to generate the featured image for a post. All other images and graphics are either original content or properly licensed and subject to copyright.

Products. I use AI to help package and deliver the products I create. The content of my products is not AI generated. It is a reflection of my strategy, expertise, knowledge, and experience. I use AI to make your learning experience better and faster, and to let me focus on the content of the products rather than spending tons of time structuring the delivery. Basically I create the product, AI helps make it digestible. An analogy I like to use: I buy you a present and ask AI to wrap it. It’s still from me. Where a product is itself an AI tool, such as a skill, I design, test, and refine it myself, with AI assisting in the build.

Behind the scenes. I also use AI tools to run the business, such as organizing and scheduling tasks, drafting internal documents and workflows, summarizing or transcribing meetings, helping with customer support replies, and analyzing business data. These tools support my operations, but they don’t replace my judgment. I review AI-assisted work before it affects customers, and I don’t use AI to make final decisions about you, such as whether to grant a refund or access to a product, without human review.

When I use AI tools that may handle customer information (like names, emails, or order details), I choose tools whose terms don’t permit using that information to train their public models, or I set up an anonymous data set that gives the AI what it needs to help me solve the problem without sharing any personal data, and I share only what’s needed for the task. For details on how your personal information is collected and used, please see my Privacy Policy.

Customer support. I use AI to help me draft customer support replies. Every reply is reviewed and edited by me before it is sent.

Automated messages on social media. On social media, I use an automated tool to send you a direct message with a link when you ask for one, for example by commenting a keyword on a post. Those messages are automated and are not sent by a person in real time. If you’d prefer to reach a human, go to elizabethstapleton.com/support and I’ll respond personally.

Audio and video. I don’t generally use AI-generated voices, avatars, or video. The exception is my evergreen workshop recordings, where a short segment of AI-generated voice was used to update the pricing discussion after the one-year access option was introduced. I also use AI tools to transcribe and caption recordings (such as workshops, trainings, and calls) so they’re more accessible to everyone. Transcripts and captions are reviewed for accuracy, but may contain errors.

Marketing. I use AI to help with marketing tasks such as brainstorming copy, drafting email subject lines, and planning or scheduling social media posts. All marketing messages are reviewed by me before they’re sent or published, and any testimonials, reviews, or results shown on this site come from real customers and are never AI-generated.

Third-party tools. Some of the third-party platforms I use to run this site and business (such as email, scheduling, payment, website, and design tools) include built-in AI features. I don’t control how those tools are designed or how they use data under their own terms. I choose tools carefully and review their privacy and AI settings, but I’m not able to guarantee how a third party handles information.
